The power of many.

Some professional nature videographers work their whole lives and never get a sequence like this one.

"And he walked away from it"

Holy crap. Mauled by lions, the rope in a fricken alligator/lion tug of war and he walks away. I had to go back, I thought the gator got a lion, that thing was enormous.

Amazing that little one was still alive when the "herd" decided to go after the lions...

Truly amazing. The most stunning image was when that whole herd advanced on the lions, each one of them scared to death, yet somehow understanding that together they could ovecome a group of the most fearsome predators on the planet.

I remember back in the day - Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. Ol' Marlin Perkins going out into the bush and tackling wildlife. Eveything was a setup, of course, but once, when Marlin took on an Anaconda, you could see that he had gotten in WAY over his head. That damn snake was winning big, and about 10 seconds away from getting it's head blown off before Marlin and his helper subdued it.

I still think it's one of the most ironic moments of the 21st century that he died from eating a poisonous mushroom. Mr. Natural indeed.
