If you were alive in the 70's...

If you were alive in the 70's, then this dude is pretty good; takes me back to my childhood...

Four words: Too young, thank God!

I was born August 79, so I missed all that fun. I got to grown up in the bland 80's.
    Annual bag refreshening almost complete...

Unfortunately I remember it all too well. The one I remember the most is the Dr. J afro thing with the ABA Squires and Nets, and the red white and blue ball. To lazy to find a good picture, but this video has some.

I guess you have to take the good with the bad. While Jordan may be one of the best known for his abilities, Julius helped revolutionize that part of the game. Don't know why that is one of the top things I remember from the 70's, while he did play in Virginia, I was a Bullets fan and that was the last time they made it two or won a championship.

Remember watching the dunk from the free throw line live on TV, unheard of at that time.

My graduation picture could have been taken from that JC Penney catalog. I would post it, but I'd get my ass kicked...

I graduated from high school in 1973....there were 320 of us. One guy who works for AT&T here makes a hobby of keeping all of us connected through email...of course we're scattered all across the U.S. and in some cases overseas...one fellow lives in Singapore.

Stuart sent this out last Wednesday and it brought back memories. The ugliness was unbelievable....polyester everything.

Unfortunately I remember a lot of that crap, was 15 in 77 & on somedays it feels like yesterday.

In regards to the shorts, my neighbor is in his mid-late 50's & wears those god awful short assed shorts when he mows the lawn. I call them 70's porn star shorts.

He was always true class on and off the court. Unfortunately I think when he went to the Orlando Magic and had the problems with his son, it changed him and you rarely see anything about him since that time.

Gawd I wish I had my High School yearbook senior class picture! 1977 baby! I was the Max, in my burnt orange leisuresuit, with the sky blue shirt, and the suede two-tone brown Hushpuppies. Strikin' a pose in my blond afro, too.

    Nice post, Spank!
