Good man on getting your license. Just remember we have a title to uphold: us under 25's have fewer wrecks per mile driven than those above 85. Let's keep it that way.
My first car was a '95 Buick LeSabre (Paid cash. $3,000.) Imagine a Park Avenue with fewer buttons on it. Still had power everything, though - power seats, power doors, power windows, power locks, everything. Great ride - I never once got uncomfortable in it - I drove it to Philly and back and the only reason why I needed to stop was to gas up (and take a leak of course).
In fact, I'd echo the other guy - it was too comfortable. As in I'd be in danger of falling asleep at the wheel at 7 in the morning as I drove to high school.
Great car - still runs good, in fact, but I'd replaced it with a 2000 Toyota Echo since then. It's a little cubby hole as far as one can go, it's not going anywhere fast (1.5 four cylinder) but man does it get unbelievable gas mileage. I averaged 20 miles to the gallon in the Buick, but I get high 30's with the Toyota (I once got 47). Buick still runs - I ended up giving it to my father and he chipped in for the Toyota (he had a '91 Park Avenue that was on its last legs and needed a new car, anyway).
