Got pictures of this in an e-mail today. Damn, and I got excited about a couple new fairway woods. $70 Million. One of the pictures I got was this one, looks like they haven't completely figured out how it works yet. Looks like he is dragging the anchor. Unless that is some kind of braking system

He got that cheap. Usually those go for $100,000,000. Wonder if that has Twin Disc transmissioins or drives on it?

I remember when he was having it built. He was doing an interview with some reporter who was giving him a hard time with a question something like "How can you spend that much money on a boat?" For some reason, it struck Norman wrong and he replied "It's my money, what the F&&k do you care what I spend it on?"

More than likely, it has 3516 CATs for propulsion and CAT used to run TD. Of course being Aussie built they could be ZedF's

Thats one of those "If you have to ask..." questions! First of all the Capt is most likely making 6 figures, same with the engineer. Does he bring his Chef from home or have one hired just for the yacht?

BTW, the fuel is the least of his expenses.

Exactly, my Dad got a wild hair years ago when he saw an ad for this older mini yacht. The owner met us at the marina and took us out for a little cruise around the lake and out into the Mississippi River,(we were living in Memphis at the time). At the end of the shake down cruise my Dad asked that very question, "what does it take to operate this beauty?" Without even cracking a smile the owner replied, "if you have to ask Sir, you can't afford it"
