Yet more snow on the way!

Quickly approaching 100" for the year, just a touch under 90" so far which has blown the old record away. Supposed to get anywhere from 4-8" more by this time tomorrow. At this rate it's going to be mid July before all the snow melts

A few pics I took earlier, I wonder if I can get the snow to go up over the fence before the winter is over? My dog has a hell of a time trying to get thru the yard since the snow is as tall as him.

But on the bright side I just checked the weather for Tupelo MS for the next 10 days & it's pretty much sunny & mid 60's.......can't wait to get down there & hit the links. I better show my daughter how to operate the snowblower so she can keep it all clean while we are gone.

With that much snow are you worried about flooding in the spring melt?

CRAP!!!
I have been here 3 years & did have a small amount of water in the basement 2 years ago. Bought a sump pump & everything needed to go with it but have never installed it. Need to get busy I guess.

It really sucks WI I'm hating it here more everyday. The MX tracks and golf courses are going to be flooded with water.

I was going to take some pics of our snow but with my photography skills no one would have known what it was. I do believe we've even got a tad more snow then you on the level WG.

Its raining at the moment and all the roads that still had packed snow on them(basically everything around me) are solid ice.

They say its going to start snowing and green/dane counties are going to get it the worst, i live in green, and work in dane...this might have to be a three day weekend.

Good thing i can still chip in the basement!!!

Up here in Central WI, we're supposed to get at least a foot, and maybe up to two, out of this new storm. Here's some pics of yesterday. Hope this all doesn't melt at once or I'm going to have to invest in a houseboat.

We're getting rain down here. It's creating a real mess as all the snow is melting. The side streets in town are glare ice. I was standing on the road trying to help my daughter get unstuck and went down like someone pulled the rug out from under me, right on my left elbow and wrist. I think I'll survive but also took a bath landing in the ice water 3" deep.

1/2" of ice on our roads now, with 8-12" of snow coming down right now. I'm off to work soon, wish me luck.

Its snowing and blowing here. Dumb End-loader guy, the idiot plowed snow up into the middle of the yard and I can't even race around my yard anymore. .

Didn't we just do this?

I had been chiseling all the ice off of my driveway (and helping do the same for my neighbor's driveway which is very steep) from about 7:30 this morning till about 11:00. I am hoping that in doing so I won't have as much ice underneath all the snow we're supposed to get (it's snowing right now, and I admit I'm not really that anxious to look outside right at the moment). Just the same, my shoulders feel like rubber from driving an ice scraper under all the ice on two driveways, and then shoveling all the ice chips.

It's going to be a good night, getting to use a snowblower (assuming the snow isn't too heavy for it).
