Last year not great for global warming believers

New data released this week, if you haven't heard. If it proved global warming, it would be front page news.

1. Last years drop in average temperature completely wiped out 100 years of temperature gains. Oops.

2. NOAH says that ice in the pole regions has reversed the trend of shrinking and have actually grown to level not seen in a while.

3. China experiencing drastic winter, snow in Baghdad for the first time in memory, and North America covered with the most snow in fifty years.

And Mr. McCain's carbon tax proposal adds 50 cents per gallon. Exactly what this roaring economy needs.

global warming can create little more unsteady weather patterns.. ie.. sudden cold fronts, or higher fluctuation in temp during a day period.

but i still think there are greater concern to be addressed, like putting more affordable golf courses in New England for a start...

Yea, yipee, it got really cold one year, I really dont think that's guna change peoples minds in the long run.

Tiger could go on a cold streak and lose the next 20 tournaments he plays in, does that mean he is no longer considered as one of the best players ever? no.

I know, but its fun seeing it swing the other way. My thing is, if what Al says about it true, it should get warmer every year. But it has gotten cooler since 1998.

Its my hometown meteorologist, who likes to show discrepancies in the data, and point out mistakes made. Seems like 2007 was a really warm year, but Jan 08 wiped out the increase in temperature by being alot colder than normal...

Check out the book "Unstoppable Global Warming: Every 1,500 Years". It's all you need to know, and the science is excellent. None of this faulty cloud-ignoring-model garbage.

I've heard that "The Great Global Warming Swindle" by the BBC is an excellent source for information if you believe its a hoax. Although, it didn't win an Emmy like "An Inconvinent Truth" did.

Actually, that makes it better to me.

I watched TGGWS, Clug. It's great. Some of their specific statistics are wrong, but they make light of the huge error in Gore's nonsense. They also cite the witch-hunt against scientists who try to come out and propose evidence against global warming.

Last I knew the whole "swindle" was on youtube, in its entirety.

This guy has all 8 parts. It's worth a night on the sofa.
