With tomorrow being Good Friday, how many people have it off as a Holiday?

Not many employers recognize it anymore.

I'm off, depending on the weather just going to screw around at home for awhile & then probably hit the range in the afternoon.

I'm off, but then again, I'm off every Friday. My week runs from Sunday night to Thursday night,

But I don't come back to work till Monday night because of Easter.

Spring break! Today was my last day of school until next Monday.

I have it off from school.

Next week is my last week before spring break.

I'm off, government holiday.

I get every second Friday off, plus at least one other day every month of the year - union thing.

I then get 4 weeks of holidays.

I find it exceedingly difficult to take all that time off and accomplish everything I need to at work. I end up working alot of unpaid overtime as a result (against union rules, but who cares.)

Well the driving range is off the table for today, snowing pretty damn hard right now & looks like it wont stop for a number of hrs. And just when the lawns were about 50% visible again too.

I am amazed at the number of people to whom Easter is apparently a major holiday. I have a pass for free golf and carts at Gordon Lakes and I am having trouble filling up a 4some! For most of them, going to church on Easter is their excuse.

Well, OK. But IMHO, if you ain't earned your way into heaven by now, 1 day in church probably ain't gonna do it either.
