Some help please?

I have been stumped by this for the last few days...

At work i can get to Yamaha R1 Forum and Yamaha R6 : R6 Forum (theyre both basically the same and on the same server) however, at home i am not able to connect to these websites...

I can ping their IP, and tracert completes without fail, yet my browser will not even attempt to bring it up(tells me i am not connected to the internet, but i am browsing on another tab so this is not the problem)...i have tried IE6,7 and FireFox and i have been through the options and tools on all of them several times...

Can anyone help?

Hahaha, sounds like the same thing that happened to me a few times over on WRX.

What sling said will fix it up, just dont try to log back in with your username or you'll have to do it all over again.

i have never even posted on either site i just browse, i have been signed up since 2004 and never posted so why would they ban me now...especially an IP ban? and yes i have cleared all temp files and cookies

And then why can i log into it from work under my user name and then come home and not be able to even see the page...all week, log in at work, come home nothing, go to work the next day and its fine...i have searched all over the net and i have found a couple of people with the same problem but no answers yet.

besides this one, r6-forum is where i spend most my time...

ok, you told me i need a life...

ez said "kettle, pot, black" meaning that you, the kettle are calling me black when you are also black....now lets substitute our particular situation into the formula

You told me to get a life, when you yourself have no life....get it?

Its a pretty common phrase...

You guys are both older than me, by at least 10-15 yrs, a "common phrase" to you doesnt apply the the next generation.

Have never heard that before in my life.

And I have a life, I work and hangout with my gf all summer, and attend school and golf everyday the rest of the time, and in my spare time I play poker to pay for ho'ing, sounds like a full life to me.

Only reason I'm on here so much is cuz doing hw on time is for nerds.

edit- forgot to add, work for me is driving cars for GM What do you do for work?

well, if i am 10-15 years older than you that means you are either 6 or 11...sorry you are in my generation so apparently you dont get out much

I work, hang out with my girlfriend, i have already graduated college, also play poker several times a week...so i guess we both have full lives outside online forums.

I dont think I could do 4 kids, 3 max (on purpose anyway).

I do love kids though, although not looking fwd to the parenting part, but kids are awesome. Reminds me of the days of limitless energy.

I miss having that much energy, WANTING to get outta bed and go do stuff. Now I wana stay in bed as long as possible
