I completly agree that that is just stupid, however with that being said I think that it would be a really cool feeling hanging from something that high.

I think that I would want a saftey line though

Well that sucked. I am just about as scarred by that as I was by mistakenly watching a beheading.

I don't know what I'd do if that was my kid and I saw the video on Youtube.

He seems to like to hang from things, hanging him from a rope by his ankles then inviting my friends over and treating him as as a human Piñata with a wiffle ball bat comes to mind, simply for the sake of making it look as though he has such senseless parents. Reason # 1832 as to why we won't have kids. Actually though, he appears to be more college age, I'm amazed he lasted that long.

I guess it is hard to fault him to much as we were a little more fearless when we were young and used to do things that were pretty stupid, yet they were not that blatantly obvious as to the possible finality of a possible mistake.

and then we wonder why liability insurance rates are so high.....guaranteed their parents would have sued the crane company if one of their darlings became a meat puddle.

I had to shut it. Almost made me puke. I wouldn't even stand up there for a million dollars, never mind hang off of it. I won't go to any height where I can't land on my feet safely, about 12-15ft. is my max. My boss wanted me to go down a fire escape from the 3rd floor of our building last month, he does it all the time rather than walk all the way around. I said "Sorry Bob, the only way I'm using that is if the building is on fire. Even then, I may take my chances jumping through the fire to the stairs.".
