I have never seen an octopus while on a dive... now I know why.

There was one shot where the octo was in about 3 feet of water. That was cool.

That is just plain sick what they can do. I guess there are plenty of good reasons why they always told me not to touch a thing when your scuba diving.

Also, seeing them in such shallow water gives me another reason to stay out of the ocean.

I've caught them in traps before. Pretty cool beasts. They're really not interested in biting. I've had one that measured three feet across draped over my arm. It was a bitch getting all the arms off, but then I cooked it and ate it.
