Buyer screwed me on Ebay and cant leave feedback!

Bastard never paid me and I cant leave negative feedback cuz their new crappy system! Total bull!!! I think this will cause problems and buyers are gonna start backing out of deals with no harm.

You can only report the buyer as a non payer. I too don't like the new system & would bet if Ebay gets enough complaints they will modify it.

On the topic, yesterday I actually for the 1st time received feedback from a seller before I gave them feedback, still waiting for the item. I don't know why so many sellers almost demand you leave feedback before they will give theirs. If someone pays for an item for me quickly, I always give positive feedback asap.

I used to leave feedback right away but then found myself NEVER getting feedback from the buyer. Now I wait until I get feedback and immediately leave feedback for the buyer...

I try to figure out how much an item will go for based on past auctions then just do a "buy it now" at or just under the going price. It's worked out well for me. They have to pay right away and use Paypal for BIN.

This reminds me... a few years back I sold one of those Palm phones. The kid never payed me so I got his # off Ebay. I called and he was using his mom's account, she answered, lol. I got the $$ that evening. I've had people go as long as 3weeks before paying, that's why I do the BIN thing. I'd rather make $5 less on it and get my money right away.

Personally I like the new system.

It is far easier to weed out crappy sellers now as there is no excuse not to be honest as the fear of retaliatory feedback is gone. Yes a few deadbeat buyers may get off easy as a result but at least you still have the item and can relist it. When you bought from a crappy seller you were pretty much screwed.

I agree. In the past I've wanted to leave negative feedback (got a fake R7) but you know if you do you will get negative back even if you were not in the wrong. I setled for just getting my money back but I kind of felt bad as others may get there fingers burnt but now you know you can warn other buyers without risking your feedback rating which is a good thing

AND as a regular seller on ebay I'd be astonished if after reporting an incident there wasn't a way of leaving a negative strike for a bad non-paying buyer

At least Ebay is not charging me for the final value fee. I relisted my item and really not losing anything just a minor inconvenience. The buyer had bad feedback for not paying before also.
