Thread: Holy weight loss...

  1. Holy weight loss...

Is this even possible? I weigh myself often. This morning I was 147.5 lbs. I worked all day in the heat, can't remember ever sweating this much. I actually ate a big steak and rice burrito for lunch and 60 oz. of water along with another 20oz. ice tea. When I got home and showered I weighed myself again... 141.5lbs.!! I lost 6lbs. in like 9 hours.

I don't even feel like eating right now. Took a cool shower and chilling in the AC. Working on my 3rd 32oz. Gatorade right now.

  4. It's ridiculous. My biceps literally look like a baseball is embedded in my arm. The cut between my 2nd and 3rd abdominal muscles is now deeper than the width of my index finger, like a full 1/2" deep. I have to eat like 2 gallons of ice cream. Actually, I still have a half tub of the weight gainer. I should break out the blender and make a massive shake, 1000g's of carbs with a 1/2 gallon of milk.

Yeah, it's $hitty here. I have to be careful as I have hypoglycemia (sp?). I pass out if I don't eat or drink and the heat just makes it like 10fold. Last time I did it was in SC when I was working as a painter. I walked out of a school we were painting and dropped like a rock. One time I did it while working at McDonald's as a teenager. A hot plate of burgers landed on me, lol. My head bounced off the floor and I had a hot juicy burger on my forehead... I should have retired on that $hit in retrospect.

I had a day where I lost nine pounds, of course I'm a little overweight and 200 pounds. It was a day in March like 5 years ago. It got up into the 80's, and I was on a roof for 10 hours. Sweated my balls off.

Boss made you work in this stuff, John? I started at 6, and knocked off at 11. Off to the range, and back home by 12:30. Great day. Short, but not totally a waste.

I really have no choice. It's the moving business. I have to take the work when it's there, hope for tips. We had 2 jobs today but both were very easy. Got to stop for lunch in between. I couldn't believe how much I was sweating though. I really don't think I've sweat that much since playing basketball in HS.

My metabolism is slowing down finally, so I'm doing the opposite as you guys, which is needed.

I gained 23 pounds in just under a month and a half. But it stopped after that so I'm sitting at a solid 173 right now. I'm going to start taking this protein shake with something like 1500 calories a serving, just to gain more weight. With a goal of 200 at the start of hockey season. I'm taller, so 200 isn't a bad weight.

Just gotta remember to stay hydrated though. Nothing worse than dehydration and hard work.

  11. just to let you know, there are more complication for being over weight than under weight. you probably lost water weight. my weight fluctuate b/w 170-175lb now. the key is to hydrate yourself plenty (especially past couple of days due to hot weather), and weigh yourself around same time.
