As for the bills vs the coins: I grew up on coins, but I say enough is enough. 5$ coins? The feel of a new bill is way better than a shiny coin, and plus, it looks like you have more money than you do with a wallet full of 1$ bills, especially because American bills all look identical. ( I hate having to look at the actual numbers in US, versus the color system Canada uses)
Another problem I have with fresh, crisp US bills, and let me know if anyone else has this issue, is that they always stick together. I have to crumple them up and flatten them again so they dont stick to one another.
