Best Canadian stuff not in the states.....

Fun thread, post your favorite things you can't find across the border. (Yanks can post their favorite things you can't get anywhere else too)

I went down to montana a couple weeks ago, asked for ketchup chips and got laughed at. Same thing with coffee crisp.... Any others?

Talking

One of the best things available in the US, and not in Canada is our ability to say out. Yeah, that's it...out. It's not oot! No, it's out, O-U-T, out! Also, we Americans do not say aye all the time, so we've got that going for us!

What I enjoyed about Canada was the 7.7 % beer. I do not remember much after that first six'er, but it was good stuff.

Beer, yup, their beer is good, but I, uhh, err heard that Canada has great strip clubs too! I am not the kind of pig that would frequent such an establishment, but that's what I've heard. So if you're ever in Canada, check 'em oot!

My impressions of both having lived in Canada for 26 years and USA for 7:

What I miss about my home in Cape Breton Nova Scotia:

1. Harvey's
2. The Atlantic Ocean - that can be had in the USA though
3. Family

What I would miss about VT

1. Facility of domestic travel
2. Cost of goods and services
3. Beer - both the quality and also see #2 above

There aren't alot of sheep and goats in Canada, to be honest.

But apparently, we have Harvey's.

Beer is good. Food is good. Iced Tea has sweetner in it. Beer can't be had in 7-11. Our gas is over $5 a gallon (US gallon). We have alot of park area.

And our golf courses are cheap.

King Par is an unknown quantity at this point
Rock nailed it. Cheap golf, nice golf courses though. Some of the golf along the Canadian Shield is so nice. 7 hours north of Rock would probably be one of the nicer courses in Saskatchewan, if it was maintained better.

When I went down to Florida what I missed was Ketchup Chips. I also heard that you can't get french fries and gravy, or is ketchup? In the states. Can't remember. I also hated that stupid 1 dollar bill. Loonies FTW.

Rock, I didn't know we had Harvey's either, it must be a non-SK thing. Golf is great in Canada, specially in Banff/Fairmont and area. Beer is waaay better in Canada. As Rock said, the US iced tea is so gross.

And its Poutine they don't make in the states (they have ketchup, haha)
