| OK, have it rigged into position temporarily. Looked on Dell's site and it's $66 for a new one. The end has been twisted so many times that it's all screwed up now. Can the cord be cut back like an inch and redone into the connector instead? Anyone know how to do something like this? I have needle nose pliers, steak knife and gas stove.  Seriously though, I need some help here.

| Fixed temporarily. I cut the cord apart and spliced it back together. Little "touch and go" there plugging it back in. I assume I'm still alive. I'm going to have my GF order a new one on CC later. I found some for about $25. In the meantime, it would prob. be a good idea to unplug from the outlet when I leave.
