I personally have no use to be able to check my email or download music or all that other jazz that the Iphone can do...i work at my computer all day long, i have all of that right in front of me and have no use for it on my phone so i dont bother getting it.

If you need(or want) those features, theres really nothing better. I cant justify paying that kind of money for a phone though...

It'd be cool, but if you want something to e-mail on the go easily. A blackberry would be better. The iPhone touchscreen is hard to see in the light as well as touch because it's a vertical keyboard, not horizontal, it's also harder to type.

Don't do it, the damn things are like crack.
2 guys at work have them & they can't stop playing with them, surfing, playing games, downloading music, etc.

I have the Blackberry and my assistant has the iPhone. I find the Blackberry to be much better for a business type phone but the iPhone is a lot more fun.

I was already to delete this thread as SPAM when I saw the subject.

Sling, I am sure if you wait long enough another spammer will be along with a great deal on an unlocked iPhone.

The huge thing about the iphone for me is that i hate bringing both my ipod and cell everywhere with me. Id get the iphone and disconnect the internet and such and just use it as a phone and ipod alone. I dont have the money to pay for all the net surfing and such.

My daughter just bought the 3G and I have to admit it is very cool. My next phone will probably be one of those or whatever the next greatest thing is.

That means you should think about it a little more - they aren't very durable. If your current phone has lots of scuffs and scratches from you banging into stuff and dropping it, you're really gonna f up an iPhone. I have a few friends with them - the people without any big scratches on them absolutely love them. The guys that work in rugged conditions and have lots of scratches loved them when they got them, then a few months later both started bitching about always having to restart them, freezing up and dropping calls, etc. In those two cases at least they didn't really seem up to rough/dirty use.
