When I used to hunt, carried an Ithaca 37 pump. It had bottom ejection. That way, I'd carry right a while and then change to left. Didn't seem to make much difference. Can use a hammer just as well with either hand. Can write just as well with my right as my left, just takes forever. Throw a ball right handed. Play golf right handed. Eat left handed. If I tried to eat right handed, I'd have fork stab marks all over my face!!!
Had an acquaintance who was left handed. He lost his left arm, just below the elbow in an accident. Some 10 years later, he still could not write worth a hoot, right handed. Had a "hook" prosthesis for the left hand/arm. Could clamp a pencil in the left hand hook and write better than with his "real" right hand.
