You two would look cute driving one!

All jokes aside, the Miata is one of the top selling cars of all time. I know people rag it for being a girl's car, but it's got something good going for it.

You're welcome, Sib!

Hey, look at it this way...if we didn't love you (in a masculine, non-Miata way ...for me,anyway), would we go to this much effort? Would we care? Would Eracer offer you his sheep?

You will note that you got a few real responses...even one from me!!

Which car do you like driving the best? IMHO, that's all that ultimately matters.

Sib, note the new part of my sig...

Don't get a Civic. On long rides they'll beat you to death. Very dependable but all the cars you list are also dependable. And you'll regret a 4-cylinder also. Pooches.

Nissan Altima with bigger engine was my choice.

Dayam! 2007 model Nissan 350Z Coupes are selling for about the same as 3 year old Acura RSX Type S!!!!!

I used to have the original 240Z, a 1970 model. Drove the wheels right off of it. Primitive but fun.

2007-2008 models look fine.

But trunk space is seriously lacking. Room for golf clubs??

gas milage isn't that bad.

From an automobile.com review of the 2007 Altima S:

As power hungry automotive enthusiasts, we must put our pride on the back burner for a moment. This is one of those rare times when we tell you with confidence that any more power isn't really necessary. Although I would never turn down a test drive with the 3.5 model (there's one coming soon - Ed.), our 2.5 S had plenty of grunt. Not only that, it was always smooth and refined, only sounding a trifle gritty at high revs, a byproduct of its large displacement.

E-C-O-N-O-M-Y (with a healthy dose of fun.)

Still, avoid the CVT in the Altimas and get the Honda. It's a bit rough around town (though not nearly as 'roid shaking as a 350Z - YIKES!) but it smoothes out very nicely on the highway.

I don't know what Civic you've been in but ours absolutely beats you to death on the highway. Not necessarily from the ride, but the horribly uncomfortable seats with no foam in them. On any jaunt over 50 miles I have to stop and get out for awhile or I can't walk for hours. And I'm serious!!

Get the 350Z Doc!! Now you're talking!!
