Snow...

It looks like January (no not the left handed golfer) outside here in VT. I'd say we have about 3 inches of the white crap down now and it is still coming down pretty heavily. I guess that ends our season for sure now

In other news, ski and ride season is just around the corner

I feel for you, it's coming here too, eventually.

So far, the weather's holding. I'm going out on Thursday, and maybe even next week once or twice.

It's only going to hit around 72F here today but we'll deal with it somehow.

No snow here....yet. Highs of about +14 today, and sunny.

And who says Canada is the home of ice and snow...

I've lived in Canada (NS) most of my life. The winters here in VT are much more severe than what we'd see in NS.

The martime climate (gulf stream also) gave us pretty mild winter weather. It was wet but not nearly as cold or as much snow.

Cool but decent forecast for the upcoming weekend here in southeastern PA.

Now that I'm golfing again, I'm hoping for a mild winter.

39*F this morning, with a high of around 65. If I can ride my motorcycle this morning, I can golf in worse. No worries this winter.

I came *this* close to going to Dalhousie for law school last year.

Then, one day in October or November when my buddy and I were on our way to the golf course, we heard the news about some major ass snow storm in Halifax and I realized just how close I came to making a very bad decision.

Actually, I hear it's a really great place to live and a ton of fun and that the people there are fantastic, but I think that as far as Canada goes...the Lower Mainland/Okanagan are the only two places I would really want to live.

bd, what kinda bike do you ride? I sold mine to my step dad this summer because I couldn't really justify the costs of having a bike and a car while in law school...and the car can carry the clubs...

We just had a girl from Newfoundland start in our office a couple weeks ago. We've been haunting her about the scary SK winters we have here. But, the almanac calls for a mild winter here.....knock on wood!

My nephew from Vancouver is hear attending the U of S, and we're feeding him all the worst stories we can think of. He's more than a little nervous.
