A Couple More 1000-word Pictures
With winter fast approaching in this part of the world, it's about time to put the clubs away for the season.

It's also a time during which I really miss going up to the cottage during the summer. P_102's picture inspired me to post these pics I took at the lake this past summer.

The first one was taken following a late-afternoon thunderstorm just before sunset:





The second one looks out over the lake, again at sunset:





I can hardly wait til next summer

Both pics were taken this past summer at Christopher Lake which is about half an hour south of Waskesiu, right next to Emma Lake. Our family has three cabins at the lake, mine, my sister's and my dad's.

Longiron, that's a great shot! I think the softened look of the falls is very impressive.

Not as much talent as luck.

If you take enough pictures, some of the are bound to turn out OK.
