    "Winter is coming"

    46° F here in the wilds of Saluda County, SC, this 0600 when I came to work. Had to put on a windbreaker to do the outside inspections and turn on the heat in my office for the 1st time this fall.

    We have a for-fun Ryder Cup type match this Saturday morning, and I may have to wear long pants!!!

    +10 points if you can tell me literary source for the quote "Winter is coming" without googling.

    Was it the Farmer's Almanac? LOL!

    I don't know if you guys even know what that is but it's funny to read, full of predictions and such from Old time Vermont farmers.
    Blew up the bag, not sure what's going in next...

    Nope. Not Farmer's Almanac. But I heard that Rockford reads that so he can keep up with the sheep sales.

    Martin will never live to finish the series, the fat bastard. Have you read some of the comments by some fans on some of the sites? Hilarious!

    Also, filming of HBO's "A Game of Thrones" will start soon. Casting is almost complete.
    If they do anywhere as good a job as they did with "Rome", it should be killer. he-he.

    Some of the fans are little too devoted to the series to say the least. I bet HBO does a great job.
