Thread: Porsche....

    Re: Porsche....

Some of us have a family, and still want to drive something fun once in a while. The Corvette does me little good now, because I need 4 seats for 95% of my non work driving. A little number like this would be just the ticket. Of course, if I had that money, I wouldn't need to drive a truck to work.
    Annual bag refreshening almost complete...

This car is NOT targeted to the normal person. This is for the ultra loaded mofo who needs a Porsche.

If I had the money, I would get one. I'd also buy a Cayenne Turbo to match.

My wife would buy a Prius. She doesn't get the lottery I don't think.

For what it's worth.. 4 of my neighbors have Porches. 2 have the Cayenne Turbo, 2 have the Caymen...

All but 1 of them, want to get rid of them... Why? I have no idea, but I do know I see the young girl with the black turbo Cayenne with a for sale sign on the back window.

When you can afford cars like that, they become old. Especially when the NEW version is available. I mean, it's 2009, not 2008 already, cripes.

The thought had crossed my mind.

I'll tell you why the Porsche doesn't interest me as much, and it's why I'm more cautious than ever when I ride...

On a motorcycle, that speed rush is a whole lot different. Speed takes a different definition when your head a few feet from asphalt, and you're flying. It's a dangerous, stupid, but addictive thing. It gets even worse when you do track.

And that's why, honestly for the money, I would take an AMA Spec Superbike, costing about 50k out of pocket, over that car. But that's just me, cars are functional, speed is motorcycle.

Oh, I know.. Trust me.. I pass the "dealer paper tags" daily around here it seems.. New Range Rovers, new C and E Class Mercs...

Hell, this one gay dude across the street has this silver lambo that is so damn loud, and he loves to just ride the clutch it seems..

And there is this once chick, who's ugly as sin.. has one of those mclaren lookin' Mercedes.. Or it looks like it atleast.. I bet she wears patchouli oil too. Only seen it around 3 times, so I dunno if she lives around here, or just visiting someone in the condos over there.
