What deck did you have? You do know they have re-issues of all the old decks? Gator, Roskopp, Cab, etc.....
All those names escape me. Yes, it is a Roskopp. The original face in turquoise. IMPOSSIBLE to find. I've seen 1 for sale, but it was off colour green, not what I'm looking for. I don't want re-issue.

If I had the money, I would grab a Lester Kasai double tail, an original Hawk mini and a Neil Blender Coffee Break. Those were the decks that my friends rode and it would be nostalgic to have them all in one place again.

I didn't know how recently you've sk8ed. All those names are of super good pros from the last decade to present. Check em out on youtube.... they are friggin amazing. All those guys are Canadian. Pick a fav. vid. and post it so everyone can see what the hell we're talkin bout. Machnau or Appleyard are good choices.

If you find a Roskopp (non-re-issue) in mint let me know..... I had the big face and I would someday like to have one again, even if it's re-issue. The re-issues are by the original companies and are identical. Just like old times.

The only trouble with the re-issues is the colours. Can't find the right turquoise, otherwise it would suffice.

I skated in about 1986 to 1991. From that point on, I lost all touch with the scene entirely.

    YouTube - Rob Roskopp-Wheels of Fire/Santa Cruz Skateboards (1987)

That might be the worst scene of skateboarding I have ever seen. But it is Rob Roskopp. LOL.

1.) An unending supply of "pocket cash". If I see an auto I like, I reach into my pocket and the exact cash is there. If I see a new set of irons I want, the exact amount they sell for is in my pocket. If I see a bleached blonde with fake knockers walking the corner, the exact amount... Nah!!!

2.) That we, our kids, and our grandkids live lives free from physical and emotional pain.

3.) That Americans once again come together as Americans. No longer would we be labeled as liberal or conservative, left or right, african american or asian american or native american... but, all be standing shoulder to shoulder as friends and neighbors.
Blessed to have a bag full of trustworthy friends who have provided this old man with hundreds of hours enjoying the great game of golf.

    Re: You find a lantern...

    1. The ability to see up to 12 months into the future. That would take care of any money issues.

    2. Good health. I like for my wife and I to go back to our mid 30s and stay that way for as long as we want.

    3. This last one is tough. I'd kind of like to be able to fly like superman but I'd rather have my dog back. I'd like him back in his prime and let him stay with me in good health as long as he wants.

Man, I used to have a Rockopp III in black back in the 80's with a set of Indys and some red Kryptos. I wish I had saved it, it probably disappeared when my parents moved in the mid 90's.
