The Droid is the only Android 2.0....looks more powerful, faster, bigger and brighter screen (plus the QWERTY keyboard).....but more importantly, dumping the crappy Sprint network for VErizon will be a huge plus.

That must be a trademark of Sprint, even in VT where there is really spotty coverage from all carriers- Sprint was exceptionally bad as was Nextel ( I think they have since merged). Here in VT the only options are Verizon and AT&T, they aren't the only options but if you ever want to use your phone for anything other than a paperweight they are the only opitions.

We were with US Cellular for years with no connection issues....but if have or want a smartphone, they are not very accomodating....you cannot download anything without them blocking it.

I wanted to go to the Android OS...went to Sprint for the Hero...and the network worked well at my actual house and along most of the hwy from work to home...but vear off the path there's nothing.

We were with Verizon, they were fine for the town we worked in. At home though we had zero service. We switched to Unicel (not sure if they are national or not, either way they are small). They had great coverage in VT and then AT&T bough them out. My wife was very excited since that meant one thing: iPhone!!!!

So far so good with AT&T, they are a little pricey though.
