Yeah, try that off your helmet face shield.....ya know how a sudden bright light at night temporarily blinds you...yea, 70mph down the interstate and i can't see a damn thing because some jackass just threw his butt out the window and it blasted me in the face...

Also, when they ash out the window....it goes up into our helmets and if we have our shields cracked a bit to increase air flow on those hot days, right into my eyes goes the ashes....kinda hard to see after that too

Cell Phones. I'll admit, I'm no angel when it comes to this, but I am much better than most. Actually cutting back, and forcing the significant other to do so as well. She was driving and texting the other day while I was riding Shotgun, I told her to either put the phone away, or let me out to walk the rest of the way. Anyone worth talking to can wait 10 minutes for you to get where you are going.

I'm with Mike as well. Cannot stand people who drive all the way up on my bumper to pass. (99.9% of the time its women...no idea why...lazy with the Cruise I guess)

Worse, is the guy who comes flying up on your bumper, and then gets over to pass, but doesn't, and sits in your blindspot.

Worse yet, is when I go to pass someone, and they speed up right about the time i'm directly next to them, and they want to keep speed right there.

My main pet peeve is probably tailgating. I make sure I do an exceptional job of leaving enough room between my car, and the care in front of me....only to have some idiot about 15 feet from my bumper when we're doing 67mph. If you're in that big of a hurry, leave 5 mins earlier next time. Usually its some Douche driving a Lexus/Mercedes SUV with those horrific LED lights hitting me through the rearview mirror. I'm on the verge of ordering bumperstickers that say "Tailgaters will be Breakchecked"

Tail gators piss me off as well, but those are probably HID(High Intensity Discharge) lights, not LED, and when adjusted correctly do not blind the oncoming traffic. HID's are quite nice to drive with, very bright, white light and they light the ditches well to see deer.

Don't get the bumper sticker....believe me, it makes people tailgate more. Buddy of mine has a don't tailgate sticker and while riding with him this guy gets tailgated more than anyone i know.

That's what I hate the most, when I'm trying to pass someone and he/she speeds up just not to let me pass, but as soon as I decline my intention they go back to their 40mph rate. The worst thing is I usually have this problem with cars with top speeds 100mph SLOWER than mine. If I wanted to pass a Murcielago or an F50 I would understand, but the compact Hyunday trying to speed me up????

About the bumper sticker, why not get back anti-fog lights? I know it sounds stupid, but I used to do it some years ago when I had a litle car when people had their high lights on me, I just switched on the rear anti-fog lights and they lowered their lights. Yes, they cursed me when they surpassed me, but it was fun anyway.

The same stuff for me. No blinkers, left lane and I'll also add stopping at yeild signs. A couple others that I see a lot are people who drive in the right lanes and will not move into open left lanes when cars are entering the freeway. Also, when traffic is heavy, people who will continue to drive down the on ramp lanes into the break down lane to enter traffic.

When I was driving trucks I had a few things I used to do, my own "bad driving payback". When a vehicle would not move over into the right lane(s) for and extended period of time and make me pass on right I would give them the no blinker, 18inch pull in. I'd pass and pull back in just in in front of their bumper with no blinker.

Another thing that all truck drivers do, block the on ramp lane as it tapers down to prevent cars from driving all the way down into the breakdown lane.

I have had drivers that pissed me off so bad that I passed, then took the rear tires into the breakdown lane, giving them a nice pebble shower on the hood/windshield.

In my personal vehicle, the thing that pisses me off most is someone coming up right on my a$$ when there is nowhere to go. In the worst case of this, the driver persisted to come within an inch of my rear bumper and even start swerving left. I had 5-6 cars in front of me so nowhere to go while exiting one highway onto another. I opened the sunroof and sent a handful of pennies out... the road we go onto starts 3 lanes and then to 2, with 3 big turns. A Prelude destroys a Maxima accelerating from 60-120 as well as handling those curves as 125-130, lol.

Living in a major city, alot of roads around here merge with others and have a "Keep Moving" sign.. You have you own lane for around 100 yards, solid white line to merge where you need to go.

People treat that crap like a yield, which I'm okay with, but please keep your wheels moving where I'm not stopped. Then you have people that stop because the traffic is streaming by, and the light isn't their color. They back the traffic up into 4 other streets and intersections because they can't read a damn'd sign.

Holy hell that works me up.. I lay on my horn and people act like I'm the asshat, until I point at the sign.

Oh, and I'm sure people will think I'm an ass for it, but driving 500 miles a week, I rack up some serious miles in a year.. People who babysit the left lane piss me off more than anything. I WILL ride on your ass.. I DO have a lifted truck, I DO has HID lights.. And I DID NOT adjust my lights when I lifted my truck.

What does that mean? It means, when I'm close, I can shine a massive flashlight into your car, light everything up, and blind the hell out of your mirrors. Move OVER.

Don't get pissed with me, turn your rearview mirror down, and then move over, only to get behind me and turn your brights on..

But in any case.. I hate that with almost no cars on the road, some dipshit is just riding along in the left lane. I'll pass you, and then pull in front of you, and then drop the overdrive on the truck. No brake lights, and instantly we're slowing down. Only then do they move over, grumble, and I'll take off and move back over in the right lane.

It's my small message to the idiots to move over, it's a thankless job.

On my way home from work friday, i am on a double lane road almost to the point where it drops down to a single lane....

I am running my normal speed and i see that there is a guy in a mazda sitting in the left lane way up, everyone else gets over like they are supposed to, but i got that feeling this guy isn't going to do that.

I am gaining on him quick, hes only doing a couple mph over the limit, i'm running my normal 80 through that part...he has no one to his right, but there is another car in the right lane close enough to him that i cannot pass him on the right.

I slow down and get behind him, not on his ass by any means, sometimes people get over late...i wait, nothing, so i quick flash him, he looks in his mirror, stil nothing. I flash him again, he gives me the finger.

I just hold my position, the car in the right hand lane peels off onto an exit ramp, so i move right and begin to pass, we go under the "THIS LANE ENDS 800FT" sign over the left hand lane than he is in, he speeds up with me....

This guy stays right by my side as this road goes to one lane, and his lane ends, he is in the stripes and damn near goes into oncoming traffic trying to get in front of me.

Then he flashes his lights at me for a mile, points at his cell phone and mouths "I'm calling the cops", rides my ass to the point where i can't see his wiper blades out my rear view. I just keep going the speed limit, cops never showed, wouldn't have cared if they did.

all he would have had to do was get in the right lane and allow me to pass like he is supposed to and all that would have been avoided.

Just kiddin' boys, because I have done similar things, and even at my advanced age, I still feel like doing them when people piss me off on the road. And I must admit, I had the RSX up to 104mph on the Interstate last week, road racing some idiot.

BUT..........it's stupid.

So even though we know we can't completely stop being testosterone fueled idiots, maybe we can try to tone it down just a bit?

These are 2500 to 5000+ lb monsters we are driving, capable of killing many innocent people instantly. The guy you are or I or the other idiot kills in a moment of blind road rage many not be the idiot who started it, but some poor shmuck driving home at 50mph minding his own business.

Agreed.. Luckily, people realize that my truck will crush their little cars. I don't think they want to drive like an idiot when I take this V8 and all it's steel glory over their trunk and smash them inside.

I generally just throw shit at peoples cars that drive like idiots. I drive through a construction zone that is 23 miles long. Interstate. 2 lanes, concrete walls on both sides, and NO shoulders. Very narrow lanes, and 50 mph zone.

I speed, I'll admit, but I keep it under 70's through there.

Tour buses.. 6 of them. Riding in the left lane. Stalling back tractor trailers, and everyone else. You have the retard white knuckle drivers going 40 in the right lane with the 50 mph tour buses.

I pass one, and this idiot swerves over and almost swipes me last Monday... I honk, he honks. I get near the door, and give him the finger, and honk to let him see it with my shit-eatin' grin. He swerves over on me, and laughs.

I smash my coffee cup all over his door and windshield as I pass.

And can you believe I get to the head of the pack finally, and it's a CHURCH GROUP!?

Why must people wait until the last 15 feet of road to stop before a stop sign, or intersection. I never know if they're just going to keep on going and plow right into me. Whatever happened to creeping up to the light, or to the stop.

another one that just kills me is when either there's roadwork with a closed lane up ahead, or where the road just reduces one lane.....people who either are too ignorant to see the signs and get over, or are trying to beat the buildup in hopes that they can just cut off some schmoe further up the line. all they end up doing is making things back up more for everyone.

This drives me nuts as well.

I have had to drive through a construction zone during my commute all summer where this happens both ways. EVERY DAY people try to fly up and squeeze in....eventually i started taking up both lanes so they had to get in behind me...eventually lots of people were taking up both lanes and it almost stopped the idiots attempting to get ahead

Get in line just like everyone else, you are no better than the people that got there before you.
