Any paintballers here?

I'm just getting back into it. I've become a paintball ho already. Bought 3 guns in the last 2 days. If you play, what are you using. Right now i've got a 4x4 shocker, 3 auto****ers, and a POS JT walmart special.

I played back in '84 with a standard issue cow marker using the CO2 cartridges (whippets). I played several times against a bunch of vets from 'Nam. What a pisser. The best...I'm completely hidden, kneeling in a copse of vegetation, in front of an elm with a forked trunk. The guy is 50 yards away, completely invisible, and threads a single shot through the crotch of the "V" to hit me in the neck. If it's a real shot, it blows my head clean off. The few. The proud. The toast.

That was before speedball. My 16 year old plays now. He has a tricked out 2k5 Sport Shocker that he's traded through about 4 guns for. Between that and *cough* girls, it has caused him to learn the value of gainful employment.

I have to say, I find something slightly disturbing about grown men running around woods shooting each other with paintball guns...

That's 'cause you don't have any trees there.

Neal's in his early 20's. In '84, so was I. You connect the dots.

I just learned last week that dogs like to eat paintballs, and that the paint can kill them (too much sodium). Be careful if our furry four legged friends are around.

Do you know the difference between a BMW and a porcupine? The porcupine has its' pricks on the outside.

Is there anything they won't eat? My shepard/lab mutt eats deer spoor like they're jellybeans! That's fatal to anyone who gets a whiff of his breath after a little snackin'.

Years ago I took my 2 Siberian Huskies for a romp in the woods. The female found some deer spoor and rolled in it.

The female rode in the back of my 240Z on the way back to town; the male Husky and I rode in the front seats, both of us hanging our heads out the windows.

That was some powerful stench, and it took 3 baths with Gunk hand cleaner to get that stuff off of her.

Paintball into your late 30's

I went paintballing many times last year and I am in my late 30's. Went with my son who is 20 years younger than I am. Anyhow my wife will not let me beat himbut, I am certainly allowed to shoot him.
