Do you know the difference between a BMW and a porcupine? The porcupine has its' pricks on the outside.

Take the rest of the day off and go hit some balls. You know it's the right thing to do. Happy B day DVM.

Thank you, thank you. Hitting balls does sound like a good idea, beacuse it quit raining and the sun is out!!

However, today is the last day for me to buy my car tag decal without a penalty, so I have to drive to the tag office and deal with the world's grumpiest civil servants. There's an oxymoron for ya!

Procrastination!!!! Thy name is gold!!!

Well here's to hoping that it won't be the highlight of your day. Maybe you'll spot a range on the way there.

Happy Bday Sib! Hope this year's as good as the previous 75!

Also note that I owe you a beer or something because you just reminded me that my car insurance either expired yesterday or expires today, which means I better get my ass in to get some insurance or I can't drive.

Well, my mom just brought lunch to the office, so I'm polishing off a hunk of chocolate cake.

You and everybody else.... 2 out 3 people in line in front of me had: (wait for it).......
no insurance.

Here in Georgia, they finally figured out that people were buying car insurance, getting their tags, then canceling the insurance (no schitt?), so they now have a computerized system (HA!) : if you ain'ts in it, no tag. Still, people sit there and argue. One woman lived in New York but registered her car in Georgia (WTF?); she got to go home and call her insurance agency to straighten THAT one out.

To top it all off, there was a Christmas tree in the lobby, playing electronic music. Beep-beep-beep does not make a Christmas song!!! I had to laugh, knowing I would be out of there in an hour; those poor people who worked there had to listen to that garbage ALL DAY.

Oh well, back to work.

Sib, I know it's different in various places, but here, it's highly illegal to drive without insurance, I believe the minimum fine is $500.

Nutty.

I did it once by accident for two and a half weeks and got "caught" (I use quotes because caught implies that I was doing it purposefully) and the cop was like "it's not that I don't believe your [i]story[/]..." and the way he said story just made me sick. Like I'm gonna drive w/o insurance when I'm an 18 year old college student delivering pizza to make enough money to get through.

Happy Birthday fellow Georgian

Have to laugh at myself here Doc, was quite worried about your comment about the pink bra, reminded me that you had recently posted that you knackered cats. Started worrying how far you would go to play from the ladies tees, but now believe that you are entitled to without modifications? I think?
and you just seemed so much like one of the guys
peace and happy birthday!
