If you won the lottery...

What would you do if you won a big lottery? Say - $150 million.

Spend alot of me time

I am not really interested in being Lotto rich, except for the time it buys. This sounds stupid and probably is, but Lotto just buys all of your time for you, it really come down to what you want to do with that time. I would golf more, spend more time doing astronomy, and start racing sailboats with some regularity. Spend more time taking my family out to do things they want to do. As it sits now, we all balance the things we want to do within the spare time we have, winning a ton of cash just gives us 10-12 hours a day of our own time back.

Talking

I'd cut down to half time on my job. I wouldn't want to quit, though, or I'd lose the dental plan.

$150million USD?

I'd throw away my watch...

Then, I'd put 125 million into investments.

I'd then take the remaining 25 and pay off the mortgages of everyone in my family, plus buy each one a car. (I have a spreadsheet detailing the cars and options, so this wouldn't take long.)

I'd buy a house in New Zealand.

After a few weeks of settling in, I'd pay for an all expenses paid trip to Hawaii for Shot Talks Premium Members. (It pays to belong! )

I might buy some new shirts, maybe some new jeans...

Oh, and I'd set up an offshore ship where I'd have exotic and rare animals fight to the death with Vegas odds....

Not that I've thought about it or anything...

Quit my job in a minute. Play the top 100 courses in the world. Hunt and Fish all the best places. Start some kind of business and invest the rest.

Doc I am getting to old for a month

2 weeks would probably kill me, I have been married for to long, and that kind of activity is rather outside the norm.

I'd quit my job, then I'd have time to search the archives of shottalk and realize this same thread was started last month.

Then I'd be an ass and rip Eracer just for fun, 'cause I'm like that.

No hard feelings dude

I spend almost 10 minutes every day thinking about this very thing. Have you ever seen the HBO show "Entourage?" I would take my homies on a world tour. We would set up shop in Malibu, Ibiza, Monaco, Monte Carlo, Vegas, Sydney. You name it we would be there. I'd be playing golf all the way. I would play all top 100 on Golf Digest's list. I would have a personal pro who followed me around and oh yeah. I would hire a personal beer girl to follow me around. Then I would give about 10 mill to charity.

$75m on Red and $75m on black then sits back and watch the green 0 come in.

Or maybe use the money to pay to become a premium member 'cause it's a bit pricey

$150 million lottery!!!!!!! WTF????

they would never do nothing like that down here in Australia
but if I was in the States and won a lotto draw that big then I would retire young and spend the rest of my life losing golf balls
