Thread: Put this in your pipe & smoke it…

  1. Put this in your pipe & smoke it…

For the North Americans in da house:

On Wednesday of this week, at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in
the morning, the time and date will be 01/02/03/04/05/06

For us normal people it will happen on 4th May 2006 with time as the same... because we read our calendars (correctly I might add) as DD/MM/YYYY...
Doctors say that you should eat 5 pieces of fruit or veg a day to remain healthy. Last week I ate 5 mouldy plums and that night I shat the bed. What's healthy about that?:shocked::shocked:

Sounds like a holiday to me. I'm gonna have to close my office and play golf now.
There's really no point in listening to other People. They're either going to be agreeing with you or saying stupid stuff. Dogbert

Thats a nice string but remember-
At 1:23:45 (am or pm) on June 7th, 1989 (I remember the day, don't remember that there was any publicity of it) it was 1:23:45 6/7/89

Remember that you are unique, just like everybody else.

  5. I'll double dip on this momentous moment. I'll savor the moment tonight in the US, then I'll fly over to the land of the left side of the street drivers to revel in the ecstacy a second time in May. The only question is whether my coronaries can survive this duplicate assault.

Keep it that way! The smoking I mean. You gotta' grow older, but be wise. DON'T SMOKE! I'll say it again...DON'T SMOKE!

I started when I was 16, and it took me until I was 44 to quit for good.

Cigarettes are nasty, evil things. Don't let them get a foothold - EVER!

    'nuff said...

  7. Yeah, don't smoke. Save your energy for Drinking, Chasing Women and Golf. Not necessarily in order of importance, but as your age changes, the order changes.

Meanwhile back on task, why do they drive on the left over the big water?
It must be awful to have to work for a living.

In small-is-beautiful England, though, they didn't use monster wagons that required the driver to ride a horse; instead the guy sat on a seat mounted on the wagon. What's more, he usually sat on the right side of the seat so the whip wouldn't hang up on the load behind him when he flogged the horses. (Then, as now, most people did their flogging right-handed.) So the English continued to drive on the left... Keeping left first entered English law in 1756, with the enactment of an ordinance governing traffic on the London Bridge, and ultimately became the rule throughout the British Empire. This rule included Scotland from 1772 and the penatly for disobeying this rule was 20 shillings (£1 todays money)

Don't worry people. That was just a google search. I'm not sad enough to actually know that.

The first known keep-right law in the United States was enacted in Pennsylvania in 1792, and in the ensuing years many states and Canadian provinces followed suit. In 1792, Pennsylvania adopted legislation to establish a turnpike from Lancaster to Philadelphia. The charter legislation provided that travel would be on the right hand side of the turnpike. New York, in 1804, became the first State to prescribe right hand travel on all public highways. By the Civil War, right hand travel was followed in every State. Drivers tended to sit on the right so they could ensure their buggy, wagon, or other vehicle didn't run into a roadside ditch.

    Google search as well

I took up smoking at 13 (1997) and then I started smoking pot at 16(2000)!
I quit smoking ciggie's when I was 17(2001) but continued to smoke pot until up until a month ago at 21 years old

thanks to taking up an interest in golf I have now quit and am free of Drugs alcohol and gambling and I agree with you they are not something that you should let control your life

say yes to a game of golf and no to drugs

Good for you. Taking control of your own life; realizing that addictions are against you, is not an easy thing. Especially at 21 years old. I congratulate you. Stay clean and sober. You know it's the proper path for you.

I couldn't imagine paying for pot AND golf. Couldn't afford the muchies!
Golf is the only game you have to practice every day just to suck at.

Are you saying you don't pay for pot...?
"Maybe he could sell it on Ebay, say it looks like the Virgin Mary, Sergei Fedorov, or Leno."
