Since it's been raining since forever...

I got to working on another project... something my son could enjoy. I think another set of bookcases for the study, or maybe a nice wine rack is next.

That's nice work.

My gf used to drag me into the hobby shops all the time to get Thomas the Tank stuff for her nephews. I always had a blast playing around with the demo stuff they had setup. They make some amazing toys that go into those sets.

Nice work Vt., that looks like something my grandson would enjoy. Is that table top something you can buy or are you that talented?

You can't fool me with the Thomas TTE stuff, dude. You're just priming him for electric trains and slot cars, so you have an excuse to build a mini city in a coupla years! Good plan, btw...

The insert cost 50 bucks. The frame I built for about 40. It's adjustable, so when it's legos and he gets taller I can put some chairs around it. The thomas version is not a sturdy and not adjustable.

Jayhawk -

It's addictive as hell. I'm seriously considering having a tree removal group come out and take down 5 huge maples (as well as a bunch of smaller softwoods) from behind my house so I can mill them into boards. SWMBO wants to clear the mess of timber we have behind the house for a better view of the mountain, so I was thinking.... two birds

Where are your project pics?

Very nice, but another pic of the top?
I can see the bridge over rae's creek quite clearly, and the water hazard in the corner, as well as the greenskeepers shed on the left and clubhouse in the background. My only question is - do you really take enough beer along that you need several trailers behind that smiley faced cart??

JJ VT. Very nice work

Yeah, I'm sure I will be doing alot of small projects when I am done. Already have plans for the enclosed deck out back, Patio and Outdoor Fireplace, and my wife is talking about increasing the size of the guest Bathroom. And again, 5 years ago I was terrified to patch holes in drywall.
