Anyone do any video editing?

I ordered a video camera that will be arriving on monday. I've always wanted to get one, so I finally bit the bullet and did it. I'm going to be recording my golf swing to hopefully I'll be able to improve there. I also want to video other stuff like mountain biking and fourwheeling etc and make little movies with music etc.

So does anyone know of the best free video editing software or have any tips?

I use the windows moviemaker that came on my computer. It is probably a bit limited but serves my purposes. I can cut out what I don't want, slow it down, pull out frames and add sounds. I'm sure there is much more advanced stuff out there but it does the basics and is easy to use.

It depends on what kind of computer u have. If your computer will allow the program get Imovie. It's easy and fun to play around with the effects.
