That Benz was sharp, I actually thought you were borrowing one of your parents cars (that's a compliment). If you bought it straight up, no loan, you did well. If you ever need parts for it give me a shout ahead of time. There are like 100's of little shops around here and the Spanish mechanics do crazy work for cheap. I was going to get an engine pulled and installed for $700 on my V6 Camry, that included the price of the engine, nuts. I realize it's risky and more than likely not top notch work. For that price though, if the thing is bolted in there and I can drive it away, I'll deal with minor BS later.

There are a ton of places with rims too. I almost bought a set of 18's for my Camry also. $300 with good tires on them.

Bought the Benz straight up for 3k, put another 1k into it and im sick of dumping money into it, so its out

Buying the Miata straight up too, im not a fan of paying interest, and its only $4500, so without any other bills to pay, i can afford it right now(plus, it's probably the only time in my life where a 2-seater is reasonable)

Im definitely not a fan of taking cars into some shady shop, especially when there's so much on this car that somebody who knows about cars could jack or turn away as it gets jacked(rims, remote start, sound system, etc.

I'm pretty much going to do the work on this myself until it needs a tranny swap, then ill take that somewhere that warrantees their work

And the Benz is sharp, still looks sharp, but its a hassle mechanically. I think i might try to diagnose some of its problems and fix them, but it's got a lot of problems, and i dont know that much about cars
