New to the forum.

Hey Fella's:

New to the forum, spend half my life on Harley forums as an owner, but split my love and my time to both golf and riding.

How is everyone?

Honda?

Jeff, sometimes it's just better to say nothing at all.

We own a Honda Pilot SUV and love it, and will likely never buy another American made car.

But there is just something really wrong with comparing a Honda to a HOG, even if it is done sarcastically.

Sorry Jeff, I'm with Sling on this one.

I played in a Pro-Am in 2005 with Gary McCord he was my partner and we discussed shaft flex.

Two pieces of advice he gave me that brought my handicap and scores down:

1. All golfers think they should swing a stiff flex shaft. Truth is, most golfers can do it for a few holes, then they are swinging at the speeds for a regular flex. Watch them start to fade the ball!

2. Swing the most flexible shaft you can get away with and still hit a draw.

That had to have been a great round, if there were two people I could play with in a Pro-Am, as I would likely be more interested in entertainment value more than anything else, Gary McCord and David Feherty would likely be at the very top of my list. Maybe throw Bill Murray in for good measure.

Kept us in stitches all day long. It was in Palm Springs. He would keep the round funny, and if you asked him for advice, he would comment on it.

I had an original Great Big Bertha, "Ruger Ti" in my bag and he came up to me and pulled it out and looked at it, (it was around 15 years old at that time) and said to me with a funny voice, " It may have one more round of golf left in it. Here, hit this Taylor Made" I did, but it was too stiff. I ended up hitting a Cobra that Art Sellenger had with my other playing partner.
