Haha, no need to be too nice. I won't break.

I guess the worst part about today was just that I was just the whole hindsight 20/20 deal. My driver was all over the place, my chipping was horrendus, and I missed a birdie putt by JUSTTHISMUCH and it drove me insane. It was just a poor choice on my part to begin with, and I went in totally unprepared just because I was anxious to play. It was windy and raining, standing casual water all over the place, hadn't practiced a sand shot in 2 years, and totally blew it over the green like 60 yards on my way out. Yeesh. But really, excuses excuses. =/

I only played 9 holes for a pathetic 50 finish, with TWO triples in there (both times where I went into the sand...) on my end, but nothing I can do about that now. Just have to practice more, and get back into the groove I guess. T__T It still hurts though. I wasn't really all that great in high school, but I mean, I was at least in the 80s. Geez.

[edit] Oh man, I just read the thread about your second tournament. A girl on our team did that on the second day of districts and missed the cut for state, after having a GREAT first day. It was pretty depressing. But it sounds like a one time freak accident for you? Maybe that makes me sound really naive, haha, I don't know.

Welcome aboard "Jimmy"

Have no fear about posting about your game on here, we all have to go through the tough times in order to learn how to play better, of course, some of us just never get any better either (self included) and just enjoy the game no matter how bad we play.

One word of caution, reading the threads on this site may lead to an unexplicable increase in the number of clubs you own and your credit card debt.

Great suggestion, PA! There are many good rope companies out there. Phoenix Rope, Miami Cordage, Cancord, Pelican Rope, Novatec Braids, and Donaldson Rope, to name a few. Not sure which one Paula Creamer uses.

Would I lie? I'm trying to help the guy choose the right rope, and you think I would misdirect him? For shame. Shame, I say...

What is the calibre of play on the girls UW team jinny? You planning to try out for that?

Is home for you north or south of UW? We should try and get a round in this summer, it'd be nice to play with a girl whose as passionate about golf, haven't met too many.

The caliber of the girls on the golf team...I've only watched them once, back when I was in high school, and they all pretty consistently hit about 220 every time, and most of them are the best of the best from whatever their high school leagues were (state champions, etc). I'm no where near good enough to try for that, haha. I think when I was in high school, if I had dropped everything else (academics, other after school activities, social life, etc), and devoted myself to practicing, I MIGHT have had a shot, but it would be a big MIGHT.

I'm from south of UW, by about an hour or so. I'll most likely be taking summer school, but hopefully I'll be able to play a bit. I really...want to get back to where I was, at least. It's almost painful to be so ridiculously bad, haha. ;__;

PS D: Guys, I can only do so much on my salary ;__; Please don't make me want to buy any new clubs.

Not trying to scare you away, but if you stay here, you have no choice but to buy new clubs.
