Greetings from lovely Chicago

New here, stopping in to introduce myself. Played since 11 years old, now 51, can't get enough of it. The game is my hobby, sport, and pasttime. It is the basis for my social life, my career, and circle of friends. Needless to say I got bit by the bug and it has never let go!

After being on another forum primarily over the past several years that has gone down in quality, I thought I'd start looking at a new one - so here I am.

Now if we could just get spring to spring around here.......

Happy Easter!

Don't you want to just shoot yourself, living in chicago. Winters are long and you can play golf only about 4 month out of the year. I played Cog hill and some other small courses and some world class courses there. People are nice too, I especially like meeting those Hot Golf women there. what are some of the better courses to Meet some Hot young women in chicago?

Welcome aboard.

Don't worry, spring is just a few months around the corner up there in Chicagoland.

Hello From LA, LOVE golf and without it, probably would have shot myself

Hello to everyone from LA. I have been playing Golf for about 3 years and i shoot around 85 on a tough course. Have not played for a while and getting back into it. I will upgrade few clubs, i think. I am also thinking about lifting weights to increase my distance. I have seen success with Tiger so i figure why not me. do you guys think, with time, i can join the Senior tour ?

Well I was going to start a thread, but this subject was already taken, so I'm piling on here. I live just outside Chicago, and golf in and around it.

What? Many courses are open all year. I started last year on April 9, and put the clubs away in mid-November ( following some of my best golf of the year... a stretch of six holes with an eagle and two birdies ). Already been out five times this year, in short-sleeves all but once.
