Hello all. Those of you who frequent other golf forums may know me as, "TitleistWI".
For those who dont, heres a brief introduction.
Im 28 years old, male and from Wisconsin. I started playing golf in '98, but just recently started playing again a couple month ago.
As you can imagine, Im still a high-handicapper but Im working hard and slowly getting better.
I used to be pretty big into Titleist stuff, but lately Ive really been bitten by the Mizuno bug. The quality and craftsmanship of their clubs is amazing and Ive been very impressed with them.
As some of you may be able to tell from the title of this thread, I do speak Japanese. Im not fluent at it, but I know enough to get by.
Ive always had a deep respect and interest in Japanese culture, thats partly what drew me to Mizuno.
Ive always loved Toyota cars and trucks, Yamaha snowmobiles, ATVs and motorcycles, so I guess Mizuno clubs and Bridgestone/Precept golfballs are just a natural continuation of my love for all things Japanese.
Im pretty easy to get along with. All that I ask is that you treat me with the same respect and courtesy that I give you. Be a jerk to me, I will be the same to you. Its as simple as that.
So, I look foreward to learning as much as I can about this crazy game, maybe helping others out and having a few laughs along the way.

There are a lot of shattalkers in Wisconsin. You should fit right in

and I'm sure you'll get a round in at some point with WarBirdLover.

Cool. Im game. My short game absolutely rocks but my driving sucks (hopefully the MX-500 will improve that though), so Id be quite usefull in a best-ball match.

Hehe...realize that there will be some of us (maybe even me

True, but there is a difference between making a joke and being a jerk for no good reason.

Not a problem. I was more referring to some experiences I had on other forums where people with a high post count act like they deserve more respect because they have a high post count and treat, "noobs" like they are idiots.
Ive also had some experiences on other golf forums where some of the low-handicappers act like they are superior and if you have a high-handicap they act like your opinion doesnt matter.
Honestly, Id expect you guys to give me at least somewhat of a hard time at first.
Im yet to be on a forum where they didnt break the noobs in at least a little bit.

Welcome to Shottalk! I'm one of those guys who works very hard at being a jerk. It takes great skill to be a jerk without insulting people. I'm still learning from the master (MCDavis,) but I'm slowly getting it. I envy your ability to speak Japanese. I moved from Wisconsin to Florida some 30 years ago, and I'm still learning how to speak redneck.

Hey man! Good to see you here! There is a strong WI contingent here from what I gather.

For those who don't know him from other forums, Bakemono/TitleistWI is a good guy . . . always good input.
