Now listen here Peterman, many modern professionals agree that, "American," English is the closest form to traditional English.

Anyway, seriously, welcome to Shottalk! What keeps you in Japan?

Inexpensive? Really? That surprises me. I was always under the impression of the complete opposite. Example cost please?

Golf in Japan has been in decline in recent years, so maybe they reduced the greens fees due to the lower demand...

    Interesting.

Wow guys I come back here after one day and can't believe all the responses. Yes the golf courses are quite inexpensive here. Most courses are from 7,000 to 10,000 yen for a full 18. If you go further into the bigger cities then the fees go up a bit.

The thing I love best about here is that there millions of driving ranges. You can find them everywhere so getting your swing up to par is no problem. Some of the ranges are on top of buildings, near farm fields and right near shopping centers.

We don't get out so much right now because it's winter and things are pretty cold so at the moment I just keep practicing. That's why I want to upgrade my clubs so I can test them out.

I'll just keep going through your site and see what you guys are reviewing and go from there. I might try to important some things as Japanese stores are quite expensive. Shipping costs have finally come down now since gas is cheaper. Gotta love that cheap US dollar right now.
