I think you'll find a mix of what you call "banter" between some really good folks who enjoy this great game of golf. Most of us are pathetically addicted to the game and, simply, can't bring ourselves to admit our inabiity to eat, sleep, or drive without consistent and continuous golf running through our shallow minds. Hopefully, you will join right in... make yourself at home... and keep us all in line. Oh! Next time you head to the kitchen, bring me a beer!!!!!
Blessed to have a bag full of trustworthy friends who have provided this old man with hundreds of hours enjoying the great game of golf.

In answer to some of the questions. I am in Oxford in England although I am originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland. I do play. (Probably too much if you ask my other half!). I've been playing for almost 6 years. I have a handicap of 5. (On a good day!)
