nice! at least I'm not the only one who is freezing!

I just like talking about clubs, I'm sick of sites just pimping out certain brands (ones that line their pockets with free gear and what not)

    Franklin Park?

    That's the Dorchester muni, no?
I played there when I lived in Dot about 26 years ago.

    Welcome aboard.
There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

Ditto x 1 million. It was the boulevard of shattered dreams DD. You'll be better off away from the nonsense.

1.) no idea what the hell happened over there but I did enjoy myself, up until a certain point where it just became a hate Titleist/Scotty Cameron website

2.) Franklin Park is in Dot, I live in West Roxbury so it's pretty close to me. Boston golf sucks, its either crap munis like FP (cost me 1000 for a season pass to two seperate courses- both Ross designs) or super elite private clubs with 50K initiation fees and long lists

You'll have fun here, DD. Threads veer wildly between true gearheadedness and way-too-raunchy humor.

Welcome!!! I think you'll find this a great forum. You'll get along quite well unless, of course, you play "Titleist/Scotty Cameron" equipment. If so, consider yourself excommunicated!!! rop:rop:rop:

Honestly, you'll find folks on here who play clubs from every imaginable manufacturer, vendor, hobbyist, or garage sale. And, no matter what we play... as with most forums... we're all scratch, hit our drives well over 350, and have never in our lives three-jacked a green.:laugh::laugh:

We have Europeans, Australians, Candians, and even some strays from Wisconsin. So, if you talk funny... like pronouncing coffee "caawfy"... we'll forgive you. At least you don't wear a slice of cheese on your head to a football game!!!!!

Join in the discussions. Be respectful of our token female, Claire. (She gets "difficult" if she gets her nose out of joint!) But, most of all, enjoy this great game of golf!

    Again, welcome to ShotTalk!!!

No need to worry on my account, Limp. I've known DD awhile, but he hasn't quite seen this side of me.
