Hello, from Binghamton

My name is Tyler Avery, I'm 16 years old. From Binghamton NY(technically Johnson City). I picked up golf recently to spend some extra time with my pops, and my other sport(mixed martial arts) is very uptempo go go go all the time, so this is a nice offset since it forces me to relax. Anyone else from the Binghamton area?

If you are check out the fox 40 wicz website they have some killer golf course specials, my father and I picked up 2 of the $50 coupons for $25 at Endwell greens and 2 $50 for $15 at Pheastant Hills and 1 $50 for $15 at River Run 2. I figured if your from here you'd already know about it if not, go check it out.

Re: Hello, from Binghamton

Thanks guys, I have some family up in the Auburn area. Any recommendations for some decently nice courses that are fairly cheap in that area?

Sunsetridge is very nice ! Camillus country club very hilly! Lafayette country club beautiful course.

Re: Hello, from Binghamton

Hey boys- I'm in a Syracuse area too..

Let me tell you, if you're used to playing the nicer courses in Binghamton (Conklin, Hiawatha) then Sunset Ridge is going to be pants to you. It's a decent course, but it can not hold a candle to Conklin. Not even CLOSE.

Camillus Country Club is pretty nice. Radisson Greens, in Baldwinsville, is an AWESOME layout that is falling apart a bit due to poor upkeep- the ownership has changed hands a lot lately and no one really gives a shit about the course. Dusty fairways compared to how they used to be, but still an excellent golf course with fast, smooth greens.

Re: Hello, from Binghamton

I'm still a beginner, the nicest course I have played is Traditions at the Glen. But I've also played courses where its like chipping onto a sidewalk.

Whereabouts near 'Cuse? I'm a bit northeast of you, up in Rome.
