Thread: Texas hello

  1. Texas hello

Hi all. I'm a new member here. Been playing at golf off and on for a few years. Lately, my son has wanted to get into the game, so I'm back too. We try to get to the practice range at least once a week, and play at least 9 holes every 2 weeks or so.

I'm jsut using some clone clubs my father gave me about 10 years ago. Son has a new box set I got him.

Glad to be here, hope to improve.

I'm east of Dallas about 40 miles.

18 every other day or so would be fine with me. We live not 1 mile from a course. and within 10 miles of 4 others.

    It only takes time.......and money.

Clubs now? Ah, the great mix- Irons 3-PW are a mix of ping clones, tour model, tour model 2, ping eye copies.
Woods- 3,5,7 are XTC heads on steel shafts from Golfsmith about 10 years ago.

I am down around the Cedar Creek area. I play Kings Creek most often. Have played Indian Oaks as well.
I tend to play when it is not busy so no one will see how bad I am, and so I won't slow down anyone.
I'll be happy when I can get out of triple digits.

    Welcome to Shottalk!

Get ready to rebuild your bag! We have a reputation here of causing people to buy clubs...at at alarming rate!
