I picked up this game again after a 40 year break. You'll probably figger out that I'm not 19. I live in Dallas am a retired CPA & currently a High School Teacher.

My game isn't really a thing of beauty, consistency is highly overrated, but Ima break 90 today [hope springs eternal]

I recognize several names & wondered where you guys got off to.

Hey great...I'd love to play in Dallas sometime. I have family in Plano, Richardson and Addison.

I saw in Golf Digest that Dallas National GC vaulted its way into the top 40 courses....

I've heard about it. VERY PRIVATE! They sold 350 ( not 349 & not 351)memberships for a cool quarter mil each. You can play there if you're name is Bush, Perot, or Staubach - all reportedly members. Bunkers have teflon coated sand so you don't have any unsightly sand stuck to your club when you get out. Got a nephew who has a friend, who has a Dad, etc. anyway, He played a round there. Said it was pretty cool. I think he was sworn to secrecy before they let him through the jewel encrusted gate.

I am a member of Burley Golf Club which is a forest course and has wild ponies and cows wandering freely over the course. Pictures to be submitted at a later date.

Ian - welcome...we are always looking for good regulars from the UK. You may find that ST is an "electronic 19th hole" where we discuss golf and just about everything else under the sun.

MY name is Evan i'm 18 a junior in high school i have been playing golf for 3 years my handicap is 3 and i guess i really enjoy the game because i'm good at it and i seem to improve rapidly in it compared to other sports that i play ( soccer swimming)
i think the strongest areas in my game are first short game and second off the tee in both of those i smoke my competition playing driver wedge the majority of the round
