Welcome aboard!!!

I think you have a great time around here.

BTW, you have any recommendations for courses between Houston and The Woodlands, or around The Woodlands for that matter, my wife is having a meeting down there in a couple weeks and her company has a few golfers always wondering what is good. Someone on here pointed out Redstone from the Houston Open, so we would likely play there once, and then the 2 at The Woodlands if we don't hear any better.

You know of any in within maybe 45 minutes that you would recommend over those, or if Redstone is worth the $125. Actually, if you do have any you would recommend, maybe update this thread in case anyone else finds it later in a search.
Golf Courses around Houston

I was just planning on bumping that thread up again this week anyways

Again, welcome aboard!!!

I just played at Cypresswood a couple of weeks ago (5 miles north of IAH airport). And while there are three courses there I think The Traditions
Course is rated the best (and about half the price of Redstone).

Yae Jayhawk I would play Blackhorse, Redstone and Cypresswood Tradition, but make sure you play the Woodlands Panther Trail. I put some othe rchoices on the other thread. You can pretty much cover most of the courses in 45 min. or less drive. Wildcat on the South side of town is another good choice.

Thanks for the info. Looking forward to it, I haven't been to Texas in about 15 years or more.

Wecome,

I've been to Houston on plenty of occasions and played golf , in fact one of my very good friends still lives out there and I'm hoping to visit him in the spring before that humidity kicks in.

Yes,that would be good.
I've played at Wildcat and I think the other was called Treeline, both very enjoyable.
I will let you know when we're over.
