WBL - put your money where your mouth is.

I'll take Indy and NE - you can have the rest of the NFC. Name your price.

Who have they played that's that good? Tampa? Tennessee? Carolina? The Jets? Buffalo? The Bungals? The only good team they've thoroughly trounced was Dallas. Other then that no real toughies. There's a whole lot of games to be played and no one went undefeated last year.

don't count on them beating the chiefs.. There's no way you can rely on a pass-only offense in the loudest stadium in the league. Packer's O-Line is gonna be slow off the snap and Jared Allen will end Favre...game over.

They're TOO good. They have NO weakness. They've barely needed to use their running game yet.

Bills?
Eagles?
Ravens?
Steelers?
Jets?
Dolphins?
Giants?

MAYBE the Steelers or the Giants will show up and make a game of it but I doubt it.

Look for the Patriots to steamroll all the way past the superbowl.
1985 Bears. Everyone thought they were going to run the table as well and they looked equally undefeatable at this point during their season.

The Colts the last few years. Always get to 11-0, 12-0 but end up losing a game.

While I would love to see the Pats run the table, I just think that its too hard to bring that level of play to the game every week for 16 weeks. It could be this weekend, it could be the Dolphins. As bad as the Dolphins have been, they always seem to take one from the Pats when we least expect it.

Regardless, I still expect the Pats to take the Bowl.

WBL, the Pats started the season with a thrashing of the Chargers which also appears on your Packers list of quality wins along with the absolute embaressment of the Redskins (also on your list) this past week. How can they be quality wins for the Packers and not the Pats? The Pack beat the Chargers by a touchdown and the Skins by a field goal. The Pats thoroughly destroyed both teams. I just hope the Packers can survive the NFC to get to the Bowl. We owe you one.

That's because the Chargers and Redskins played better against the Packers, obviously!!

I'm not doubting the Pats will go all the way. They haven't played a bad game but is that due to dominant players or just super good game plans? But this talk of utter domination is not accurate with the parety in the league. But we'll see.

WBL

I do like the Pack. Brett Farve and Sharpe was my favorite thing to watch in the day. I dont think the better teams in the NFC suck just they cant compete with the best in the AFC. The elite of both devisions you have AFC: PACKERS and GIANTS NFC: INDY and PATS Since were comparing apples with apples...........the NFC's apples are just plain rotten when compared to the AFC's.

I couldn't be happier with the way the season is going for obvious reasons, I am a huge Packers fan. Favre is playing like he is in his prime and our defense looks like the defense of the 90's. The bears are stinkin up the joint. The Lions are a big surprise but they still have to play us twice and we always play them tough.
The Patriots are an unbelievable team and will most likely represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. I can't see them losing another game if they get past the Colts.
Being from San Diego, I still like seeing the Chargers do well. They are turning it on as of late but how could they fire a coach after he goes 14-2. I understand he couldn't get along with management but that is no excuse to get rid of a proven winner even though he doesn't have the best playoff record.
There have been some great games so far this year but the way Favre finished off the Broncos was amazing. I hope Favre can make it to Super Bowl one last time and then hang up his cleats, leaving behind a great legacy.

GO STEELERS! We're doing well, and we will continue to do so until the trophy is in our hands again!

Oh, this just in:

Patriots suck.
Sox too.

Don't overlook the Chiefs in Arrowhead. They are playing very tough this year even if it's ugly. And Arrowhead is Arrowhead, always a tough place to play.

I'm looking forward to seeing Favre play again. I've been to 4 or 5 Chiefs-Packers games (one at Lambeau) and they are my favorite NFC team.

The weather is supposed to be nice and I'll be at the game. I'll be the guy wearing red.

The NFL season is long over for me, I have been cheering on the Dolphins since 1980...everyone else around here was either a Packer or Bear fan & I hate jumping on any bandwagons so I had to be different.

Looking forward to Cameron getting fired, & getting the 1st pick in the draft & it had better be a damn qtrback....why these jerks passed on Brady Quinn I will never ever figure out.

Thanks for taking Trent Green off our hands...

He's a really nice guy and a super person but he was done as an NFL quarterback after he took that head shot in the Cincinnati game early last season.

I never understood the big desire the Phins had for Trent, it's not like he has accomplished all that much during his career. Ever since Marino was basically forced out they just haven't had anyone even mildly decent as QB.

"I had to be different" is just as stupid a reason to like something as "Everybody else likes them." FYI.

Actually, he averaged 4023 yds./yr., had 111 TD's and 76 INT's in his 5 full seasons at Kansas City. 24 of his INT's were his first year in the offense (the press here called him TrINT his first year ), otherwise he averaged about 12 a season. His QB rating averaged 92.6 over his last four full seasons as well. Those are Peyton Manning/Tom Brady kind of numbers and not too shabby. Trent Green was steady, made good decisions and didn't lose you games with stupid mistakes -- something Miami really needed (needs).

His QB coach in KC was... Tada... Terry Shea, who is now the QB coach at Miami. I'm sure Shea lobbied heavily to get him to Miami. I can see why Miami wanted him but was surprised they traded for him. Here in KC we all thought they'd wait for the Chiefs to cut him and get him for nothing. Of course someone else may have made him a better offer then.
