Yep, thats him.

That scene isn't realistic at all, the only violence that flares up is between United and City Fans and that is Very rare because we are from the same city.

I just like watching good football. Man U and Chelsea have so much talent it is a pleasure to watch their matches. I have been a bit partial to Fulham as they carry a bunch of US nationals including my favorite, Dempsey, but their games do not showcase the same level of talent as Man U and Chelsea. I have caught a few Liverpool games over the past month or so and enjoy watching Fernando Torres play alongside Gerrard, but nothing compares to the big 3 of Man U.

I confess I haven't been watching as much Premier League football this year as I should. I'm fortunate to have access to FSN, and really should be taking better advantage of it.

With regards to an earlier post, football (the real stuff, not American Helmet-ball) fans are THE most passionate fans in all of sports.....

When was the last time a set of baseball fans, or NFL fans, cheered and sang for 10+ minutes after a home run or a touchdown?

When was the last time that TENS OF THOUSANDS of fans travelled hundreds, often thousands of miles for a big game, many of them going into debt for years to do so?

American fans, and European Football fans are not even "apples to oranges....." it's a much bigger difference than that.

I couldnt be more dis-interested about the final if i tried but blind faith and short sightedness is something Liverpool fans have never had in their armoury.

We should be realistic and be honest that we have had success at every level and won everything but our holy grail which has always been the league, which is what Liverpool Football Club has always measured itself on. To get there we know we need consistency and less rotation, but until the fueding off the pitch is sorted we are going to struggle to compete, outside of Torres we do not have a lot of goals in us, Stevie G may pop up with a few, but Ronaldo ( a winger) has popped 40 goals in the bag, who de we have in his position, Pennant, Lucas??? just not good enough and not worthy of a red shirt, we have settled for second best in the transfer market for too long and now we have suffered the consequences of United breathing down our neck, we need a good 60-70 Million of investment in the team to bring us up to scratch, and maybe, although it saddens me to say it, Rafa may not be the man to take us there.

We always conduct ourseves with dignity and pride lets not look like jealous and bad losers, we still have 3 more European Cups and One more Title than them so lets build on them not self destruct

I would agree. While I have not been watching the PL for long, this season was simply amazing down to the final day of matches. With Chelsea starting out so poor out of the gate and the Gunners grabbing an early lead, I did not expect the season to come down to the last day with Chelsea and Man U separated only by goal differential. On the other end, I ended up following Fulham and the other teams on the edge of relagtion more closely to see if Fulham could climb out of the relegation depths and stay in the PL. Exciting stuff.

Luckily, FSC carries a good dose of PL action through out the week so I can watch games that I would have missed on the weekend. In addition, I have watched a few matches from Series A and some La Liga matches when Kaka and Ronaldinho play and developed an appreciation for those leagues as well.

I am looking forward to the CL final, heck, I even watched the UEFA final the other day.

Good overall post, but don't forget... LATELY, Rafa has played Dirk Fxcking Kuyt on the right side of midfield. Kuyt is a decent 3rd or 4th striker, but starting wide right? First I curse out loud at Rafa (the three year old is learing lots of new words) then I vomit at Kuyt's lack of pace, again at his lack of touch and skill, and a third time at his lack of vision and creativity. All three generally occur in within his first two touches of the ball.

Then, while cleaning up the mess on the floor, Kuyt generally misses a good chance, holds on to the ball, or generally takes a big steaming sh1t somewhere down the right flank.

At that point, I pick up my three year old and hurl him towards the television, inevitably breaking it.

It's been an expensive season at my house. The kid (Pepe is his favorite player... he can tell his shirt apart from the others) wears a helmet so as not to end up as daft as Gazza when his head hits the television.

And if I hear one more time how "hard" Kuyt works, or that he "runs and runs and runs." I will hurt someone. All the great wide players of the last 10 years.... Ronaldo, Giggs, Robben, Joe Cole, Overmars, hell, even Becks... do you EVER think "work rate" when describing them?

Sell Alonzo, sell Kuyt, sell Crouch, buy ONE top class wide player for about 25 million. In 2009, buy a left back.

LFC will have to build one piece at a time, as they will not spend money like United or Chelsea. I just hope we can get all the wide position pieces in place for a run at the league title before Gerrard gets too old to carry the team.

Ok, back on topic.

I'll settle for a 0-0 draw, go to extra time, with a stalemate at nil-nil until the 30th or 40th round of penalties, most of them misses high over the bar or little dribblers wide of the post.

Then, years from now, both teams are disqualified due to retroactive drug testing, which reveals that Giggs' chest really should not be that hairy, NOTE VEN CLOSE, andchemically induced.

That ought to do it then.

And Ronaldo looks just plain silly debuting his new boots...... with the high heels.

I don't normally have a good word to say on Liverpool but I've admitted Steven Gerrard is one of the best Central Midfielders in the world (but Rafa plays him else where).... Did any of you plastic Scousers see The Albion parading your old trophy about last week? (must admit one of the funniest banners in the crowds I saw this season was the Everton fans one at Anfield saying 'Welcome to Merseyside').

Portsmouth are nick named Pompey as they are all Fags!!! Only joking it's just shorter than saying Portsmouth when asked where you come from or who you support... Pompey.

They sing 'play up Pompey... Pompey play up'
