This is just insane. for a guy who never played a down to get that kind of cash. Sports athletes make way too much money and driving up ticket prices. you can't even watch a game in person without spending a couple hundred bucks. this has too stop. how much is to much.

wouldn't worry about the 72 million...we all know all the matters in the NFL is the part of the contract that's guaranteed...his contract is $34.75 million in guaranteed money...think its slightly more than Jake Long but essentially not too excessive for first qb taken.

russell was 31million + guarateed so not too much disparity there
