Its a career, i believe you should have loyalty to your company.

I have loyalty to the company i work for. Unless they do something to break that loyalty, i will probably work here for the rest of my life. I believe in the goal of this company, i also believe in the fact that loyal employee's do better and more efficient work. The company then trusts me with its secrets that keep it ahead of its competitors. It would be like me selling those secrets to another company.

This is what happend to Favre, the company(packers) gave him a spot to play every year along with the millions they paid him...he should be loyal to the company and not sell out to another company...

I think it shows alot about a persons character how loyal they are to their friends and their company and to destroy that loyalty would be a huge detriment to his character in my eyes.

ESPN.com has a story about Favre wanting out of Green Bay. I dont mind him going somewhere to play, but GB has every right to make sure he doesnt go to a team in the NFC. If he wants to play so bad, trade him to the Jets, Dolphins, or some other worthless team.

Mate, I'm a furious Bears fan as well, and I hate Favre because he was the reason I had to worry EVERY Packers-Bears game I've seen in my life. I would die to have an old and washed up Favre in my team instead of a brand new "so-consistent" Rex Grossman. I would actually trade ANY quarterback they have Rodgers or Brohm) for all of our great picks

THe good thing is we don't have to worry about the Packers any more. Not because they aren't a great team, but because we are so bad and its so obvious they are going to kill us, that we don't even have to wory anymore about the 08-09 campain

IMO, this seriously taints the picture of Brett Favre that I had in my head until today.

Retire buddy. Go out a champion, not a chump.

You're a Bears fan? That thinks rationally about the game of football?

I think Dan Marino was a better QB, and he doesn't even have a Superbowl ring.

Brett Favre is/was a great QB, but he's not the best of all time. That would be Johnny Unitas, IMHO.

The greatest is number 16 and he hawks underwear for a living.

Back on topic - I think Brett has earned the right to do whatever the hell he wants, assuming he is not under contract, which I believe he still is. So it's the pack or nothing.

if Aaron is able to handle backing Brett up or sharing time at QB with Brett than let him come back. If Aaron wants to stay #1 and Brett is OK backing him up let it happen. If Rogers wants to be solely #1 then trade Brett to another team.

If Farve is Ok with going to another team and the Pack is ready to turn the page trade him to a team that could use his skill set. Brett is one of the greatest QB's to ever play the game and his time with another team will not hurt me or Farve's legacy.

Actually, Favre has three years left on his contract. So if he comes out of retirement, he bacomes an active player on the Packers roster again. They need to release him, trade him, or keep him.

a true Bears fan would never want Farve on the Bears.....he is the enemy! "so obvious they are going to kill us"..???????????!!!!!!!!!! what, like they did last year..if you remember, Bears beat the crap out of them twice with a beat up defense. I'm a true Bears fan, through thick and thin. 2 years removed from the superbowl and you're talking like that?!....I dont understand. I'm sitting here typing away with my Bears shirt and Bears hat on, and cant believe that a "fan" will not believe.....gotta believe!

Hey DaGris. You're address hasn't changed, has it? I want to send you an early Christmas present. I think this would go well with your Bears t-shirt and hat...
