I suspect that, if anything is to be done about it, it will happen after the games are over. No chance they will risk upsetting the host country, which has a long history of retributive conduct, while the games are still going on. Too many opportunities for bad things to happen at the hands of the Chinese government. Much more likely that the Chinese team will be stripped of their medals after the games are over. Frankly, while I know that the U.S. is no angel, I was surprised that China was even awarded the games.

Boxing might be the worst officiated and judged sport in the Olympics.. maybe not the worst, but Im done with Olympic Boxing.

the chinese have a good pedigree in diving, have won medals before in that discipline, apart from the light flyweight Zou Shiming who is a double world champ the chinese didn't have too many favourites in the boxing, in the light heavyweight today we had a guy come up against a chinese guy and the judging was terrible, the irish guy landed plenty of clean shots that just didn't count yet the chinese guy was getting points for shadow punches

Im not a diving fan at all, but from what I saw, the Chinese were nailing all of their dives...

but boxing is just.. bastardized during the Olympics... its a damn cat fight out there, with each boxer trying to pimp the scoring system with powerless jabs and love taps.

Fair enough... although the "pedigree" should have f all to do with it, imo. I much prefer the events without judging. A Time, a score, a finishing order, etc.
