I really dislike tebo...

I don't even like to write his name. I just don't like the guy. I understand his family are all missionaries and he is some sort of fake doctor overseas, helping circumsize (sp) little kids in poor countries.

I guess I'm the only one who feels like someone who wears jorts and plays with foreign kids weiners shouldn't be in the spot light.

Not to mention he just thanked his "lord and savior jesus christ." I wish athletes would just thank their teammates before god. I don't think god caught the pass in the end zone that won the game.

I have always felt the same way, do they actually believe "God & or Jesus" gives a crap about their game? If they did get spiritual help, does that mean the spirits conspired against the other team? Shouldn't the losing team curse the deity's for not rooting for them?

I like and respect Tebow for the things you say you don't like him for. And I hate Florida in general and hope they lose every game. Eye of the beholder. In my eyes God is before friends, family, and certainly before team mates. If you think God doesn't catch touchdown passes and such look up the verse he wears on his eye paint. Not trying to get all holier than thou or anything... but you did bring it up

If someone takes him in the first round in the nfl draft whenever he comes out it will be a ryan leaf esque bust. He is clearly not an nfl style QB.

Honestly if you love and worship god that's great, just leave it out of the post game questions. I have nothing against people being spiritual and expressing themselves but not on tv before you thank your offensive line and other teammates.

P.S.- Anyone in their 20's that wears JORTs as much as tebo... is no friend of mine.

What is this anti-religious stuff? Last time I looked, the constitution gave individuals the right to practice the religion of their choice. Part of the Christian faith's mandate is to praise God.

And I'm sure Tim Tebow (that is his name) let's his team mates know how much he appreciates them. I'm not the least bit religious, but I defend the right of anyone to express their thanks to whatever God they believe - be it on national television or in the privacy of their own church.

I don't think the postings are anti-religious, just find it funny that a religious person will thank god for their success without considering that since god's looking out for them it must me he/she/it is against the other person/team.

It probably is a mandate for them. I wonder if the NFL or college programs would crack down on this if a few of the Muslim players would start giving praise to Allah after a win?

Everytime I make a birdie I give praise to the giant purple pirate monster in the sky.

I know exactly what his name is and don't wish to write it completely, as that is my choice.

I am absolutely NOT against anyone practicing whatever religon they want. About the mandating a praise to god I guess that's not covered when he points to the sky after every single play. Well more likely after every step he takes and drink of water and phone call, etc. I mean seriously it's just a little over kill, I get it you love and worship god.

I am however against an athlete saying that god helped him hit a homerun or throw a football 50 yards to a guy running down the field. I'm pretty sure that training and practice had everything to do with that. You give me the choice between a preist that worships god like no other and say Brett Farve, I'll take Favre everytime.

This is my point of view and it may be wrong but as this is an open forum I can make fun of a guy for whatever I want. Like wearing jorts, circumsicing african children, crying at every post game interview, kissing his teammates on the sidelines and praising god for putting extra zip on that sweet sprial he threw.

Especially after tossing a bomb for the win...

And you're coming to the bible belt for golf? Lord a mercy, you're gonna' be struck down....

Oh wait. You're from Tennessee, the bible chastity belt. That explains EVERYTHING.

Under his eyes is Phil 4:13:

Philippians 4:13 " I can do all things, through Christ, who strengthens me."

Yes team mates, practice, hard work, dedication, etc, make him great. But it all starts with God. I venture to guess that he believes that regardless of his work, if he didn't have Christ he would be nothing. It's his inspiration and what drives him, so I tip my hat to him.

With that said I hope he and his Gators get destroyed by OU! BOOMER SOONER!
