Well, he is a Superbowl champ, and is leading a team which no one thought would do better than a 5w10L to its first franchise Superbowl. If he wins the SB he should be walking down the hall. If he doesn't he should be in my opinion but most would disagree though.

I think he'll need this Superbowl and the Superbowl MVP. His career #'s are very weak. 182TD's and 28K yards passing. Farve has 464/65K.

He also has the same # of SB appearance and WINS as Favre right now, with this upcoming SB he will have MORE SB appearances. I say he was already in once the Cards got to the NFC Championship game.

The only reason I use Farve as example is because they will end up being voted on in the same year. If it's one or the other, Farve has him by 10 miles as far as HOF #'s are considered.
Edit- I'm talking out my a$$ again. Took a few minutes to look at the HOF website. He's a lock, regardless. His #'s are better than Terry Bradshaw's.

I would say getting them to the SB and not just the NFC title game is what will put him over the top. Now, if the Cards win, then I don't think there is even a doubt he gets in; especially considering they're playing the Steelers.
